Dale Emmons is a native of Tilton, a farming community located in Fleming County, Kentucky. Dale founded his firm Emmons & Company, Inc. in 1990. This is a political services firm. He got an early start in the "business of politics". The family General Store in Tilton was the local polling place. His father was a long-time school board member. He was named for his late Uncle Clemmie Clifton Emmons. Clemmie was a Magistrate from the Tilton District for nearly twenty years. While he loved and admired his Dad and his Uncle, he didn't exactly follow in their footsteps. They were Republicans! He is a Democrat!

During the past thirty years Dale has been involved in successful hands-on grassroots politics. He started in high school with the Future Farmers, eventually earning the coveted American Farmer Degree. He went on to the Young Democrats and student government at Morehead State University. He was elected National President of America's Young Democrats in 1979. His endeavors have taken him from the Courthouse to The White House. Today , a few of his clients have even resorted to using and defending themselves from the material found in the "Outhouse.

After three decades of studying and total emersion in politics, Dale has become a recognized authority at campaign strategy. He regularly attends campaign-training seminars keeping abreast of the latest trends and techniques. He has appeared as a trainer for the Democratic National Committee, Congressional Quarterly, the Association of State Democratic Chairs, the Kentucky Democratic Party, the American Association of Political Consultants, Kentucky Women's Political Caucus and for Campaigns & Elections magazine. He has appeared as an instructor for academic outreach programs at University of Akron, George Washington University, American University, Louisiana State University, Eastern Kentucky University and at Harvard University.

In 1998 he was recognized by Campaigns & Election magazine as a "Rising Star of Politics". This followed a political slam-dunk of 17 wins and no losses in 1999. During the past three years Dale has earned seven National Pollie Awards for excellence in his work. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Association of Political Consultants. He has been a part of 350 winning campaigns.

In his career, Dale has helped win more than 350 campaigns. Many were upsets. Johnny Ray Turner's stunning come from behind victory over veteran State Senator Benny Ray Bailey and Donnie Foley's defeat of long-time Bourbon County Judge Executive Bug Hinkle. He managed Kentucky's first $1 million State Senate Race in Pike and Letcher Counties for Ray Jones over the favorite State Representative Chris Ratliff. In a 2001 Special Election, seven days following 9-11, his client State Representative R. J. Palmer of Winchester, became the youngest member of the Kentucky Senate in knockdown, drag-out, political brawl with the Kentucky GOP. This spring, he was a key player in the near upset campaign of Bruce Lunsford's $8 million long-shot campaign in Kentucky's Democratic Primary election.

All of his efforts haven't been partisan; he helped Supreme Court Justice James Keller retain his seat over the favorite Larry Forgy. He also helped Kentucky's tobacco farmers Burley Tobacco Coop in their successful effort to retain the federal price support system. He advises some of the state's leading corporations, law firms, and small businesses on issue advocacy. Dale is also finding time to help the Kentucky Conference of the United Methodist Church organize an exciting new congregation – Northridge Church - in Richmond.

Dale claims Superman as a client! You and I know him as Madison County Judge Executive Kent Clark. With experience earned in the Kentucky political trenches. In the Bluegrass state Dale has established himself as the keeper keys to the gate of the "Winners Circle".
